We rely on the generous donations of individuals and organizations who see value in giving of their time, money, and goods. Just a little bit from a lot of people allows us to serve more of those who are in need.

Thanks to your time, money and effort to support Avenues 12, we have been able to provide the support and resources necessary for women to create a new life and become functioning members of society.

During 2016, Avenues 12 Women’s Recovery Houses have:

  • Provided 15,698 nights of safe and sober living
  • Provided 4,779 healthy home-cooked meals
  • Ensured 100% of our residents gained employment
  • Given back 4,892 volunteer hours to our local community

Avenues 12 has made a positive impact in our surrounding communities since our inception in 2009. Our structured residences provide women with an established and respected recovery environment.

Janet White

jwhite_headshotJanet’s dedication and commitment to Avenues 12 is remarkable. Her kindness started from the first day she met Kay Hayes.

She helped to form the first board of directors and locate the perfect house to begin our journey.

Ms. White purchased Avenues 12 first house in 2009 and leased it to the organization. She generously donated an additional $27,000.00 for renovations and startup costs for Avenues 12.

In 2011 she donated the house and an additional $7500.00 to replace the roof.

Janet served as the board president from 2009 -2011.

She has provided not only the financial support to launch Avenues 12, but the perseverance to help mold and change Avenues 12.
